The Hecate II is a French bolt-action long-range sniper rifle. It was adopted by the French army under the designation FR-12.7. It was developed for a range of more than 1800 m and uses a .50 caliber bullet for heavy machine guns. It boasts high elasticity collection because it operates a high-precision mechanism made of high-quality materials by manual loading. The name of Hecate is derived from the Greek goddess of death 'Hecate', but it is also said that the one who shoots arrows far away = the female form of Hecatos.
